  1. Oh Val, our boys are all grown up, and didn’t they look handsome. Did he enjoy the prom? Tom wasn’t too impressed. He said it was good to see everyone again but the food and the music was pretty poor.

Love that ‘doll’. The face is just lovely. Did you make that?

  2. Good morning Valerie. Thinking of you this morning. I have a few minutes for visiting. Love your pretty posies. Flowers just make me smile. The doll is sweet but the photo of your son and his mates is awesome. I can tell you they grow in a blink of an eye. My grands are doing the same thing. The older we get the faster time goes by. Seize the day and enjoy every moment. Show us a close up of your son Valerie. I think you have before but I can’t tell which boy is yours. Congratulations on his graduation.

The crochet afghan is so pretty. I too love Country Living.
    Enjoy your day.
    Hugs, Jeanne

  3. I love that you call the small bouquet a ‘posy’ of flowers. Around here, posy is a synonym for flower. It seems so 18th century in a charming sort of way. I find it so interesting how different groups who use the same language use it so differently.

My son went off to prom this year as well. His GF is a little older, therefore in a higher grade and he went with her. I agree that it’s amazing… you’re holding this adorable baby in your arms one minute, then it seems they are going off to prom. And you thought they were so big when they played baseball in the county rec league or danced in a recital or something like that.

  4. Hi Val. I’ve been AWOL for a while with decorating etc at home and visitors but hopefully I’ll be back to blogging everyday so won’t have to keep playing catch up. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who has to post several photos in one go!!!

Your pics are fab as usual and I love the shots of your crochet. Sad to say I’ve only made one Granny Square since Easter!!! Hopefully going to catch up with some this month with it being the school hols.

    Catch up again soon :0)
