Having attended Fibre East over in Thurleigh last week I became inspired to try spinning wool on a drop spindle. I bought myself a beginners kit which included an Ashford spindle made in New Zealand. I’ve been having a play and I still have along way to go but I have thoroughly enjoyed crocheting this little drinks coaster from my very first spun wool.
